A Little About Me

The names Smokey. The tax man calls me Samuel but I go by Sam as well. I reckon you could say I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, but potterys always been my favorite thing.

I ain’t no fancy artist. I like to keep it simple – just me, my trusty old wheel, and a pile of clay. I reckon there ain’t nothing more satisfying than watching a lump of mud turn into something beautiful right before your eyes. Pottery has been my apart of life for as long as I can remember.

Was born and raised in the rugged hills of Vermont. When I ain’t up to my elbows in clay, you can usually find me out in the woods, hunting or fishing but mostly just loving the peace and quiet. Once in a while I dust off my old banjo. There ain’t nothing like strumming a tune on a as I watch time slip by.

I won’t get into too many specifics about myself. I live alone now and I don’t need any crazies coming to find me or trying to bamboozle me on the internet. I hope to share some ideas about making pottery and a few other things.

I’m starting to figure out a few things about this website program. I added a little color. Maybe next I’ll find some pictures. When my friend comes to visit again I’ll see if I can learn a few new tricks.
